FIT BIT. . .it's FRIDAY

I had this entire "formal" blog written out in my head but in reality, I am just happy that it's FRIDAY!

I have been studying, memorizing, practicing and teaching for my Les Mills formats all week, juggling clients and making sure my kids got where they needed to be before and after school.  I missed my volunteer time with my weekly fitness group yesterday, my oldest girl has her permit and wants to drive to school every morning while my youngest one hasn't been feeling well and stressing over her pre-algebra test and spelling bee! I am pretty sure I lost a couple of brain cells this week and this picture says it all. . .tongue and everything! I GOT NOTH'N LEFT!

It seems like the more I let go, the more OTHER STUFF tries to come my way.  Even though this week has been a bit crazy, I think I handled it pretty well.  I do know that I will have to make some adjustments going into next week because in order for me to successfully reach my goals,

I have to make sure that my boundaries are in place and the craziness is under control. Even though my time is usually my "family's time", I have discussed the schedule, priorities and needs with my daughters and husband.  If we understand each other's needs and know that we need to stay on track with those needs, we should be successful in reaching our goals.

There will be things that will happen unexpectedly and sometimes you just have to roll with it. When I realized I missed my CRB FIT group last night I was getting really upset with myself.  It was the first week back and I was READY TO GO! My daughter reminded me that "things happen for a reason" and we may never know what that reason was, we just have to accept it for what it's worth.  That immediately calmed me down and made me proud that my kid actually does listen to me from time to time.

So, take a moment to just CHILL.  Make sure you have your "TO DO" list in front of you and stay focused.  It will keep your stress level down and get things done at the same time! Enjoy your FRIDAY and until next blog! -Nic
