Look at that skinny BodyPump bicep muscle! It's a little on the small side but it is still healthy and strong. I am very happy to be healthy and fit. Fitness is definitely my drug of choice. It gives me HIGH energy, puts a smile on my face and encourages others to want to do more. Thirty minutes a day is all you need to improve your fitness level which will improve your way of life. Keep moving, never give up and live your life to the fullest. Use the resources that are in front of you and make the best out of any situation. Let's see what a little fitness and positive energy can do for you. Flex you muscle big or small and let's do this!
Of course, fitness is a part of my life because I teach classes or train athletes every day but it's also a part of my life because I have seen what happens when you don't stay active. I want to experience life "alive" and "well". Not through the lens or direction of someone else because I am inactive and limited to move. For some, that might be the only choice they have but for many of us, we do have a choice and it's our responsibility to make the right one. Not only for ourselves but for those around us.
New Week Challenge: I am on day #6 and I have to say. . .this is working for me. It's a new way to start your day no matter if you work full time, part time or at home. It refreshes and renews your day before it even starts and it's simple.
THREE STEPS: (before you start your day)
1) As soon as you wake up, drink 2 cups of water. Activate those internal organs before you get moving.
2) Meditate or Pray immediately after you drink your water (unless you are running to the restroom). Think of the things you appreciate rt now and ask for what you want. No holds bar and BELIEVE you will achieve (something I have a problem with from time to time).
3) Next, go for a walk, move your legs or do jumping jacks and do not check your phone, email or anything on your computer.
