Another Reason to drink Water!

As an athlete (on any level), it is very important to drink your water! We need to keep our muscles filled with oxygen and our body hydrated!

I recently stumbled over an article that my husband brought home for me to read. I could not believe my eyes and I know several of my friends are hooked on Cola drinks.  It helps them start their day.  I hate to see them crack open that can!  Well, if you know me, you know I have an article just for those particular can openers! I type this out with love and by no means want you to change. . .well. . .not completely! LOL!

Water: 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated which likely applies to half the world population.

Cola: In many states the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the trunk to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.

Water: In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is mistaken for hunger.

Cola: You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of Coke and it will be gone in two days.

Water: One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University of Washington study.

Cola: To loosen a rusted bolt: Apply a cloth soaked in Cola to rusted bolt for several minutes

Water: Lack of water is the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.

Cola: To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers; rub the bumper with a rumbled up piece of aluminum foil dipped in Cola.
