NO EXCUSE MONDAY

It's Monday AGAIN and man can it be hard to get up and get going.  Whether you are heading to work OR you have the day off, make a difference in how you feel today.  Before getting too deep into the day, make a commitment to be positive, strong and help someone else today.  There are NO EXCUSES to be miserable, frustrated and mad.  

"But Nicol, you don't know what I am dealing with right now. . .please!"

You are right, I don't know what you are dealing with right now but you don't know WHAT I AM DEALING WITH right now! LOL!  The grass is always greener, right? Let's put those things aside and do not allow those problems to set the tone for the day.  If you read through the MIND BODY and SOUL series, you know that it all starts with the mind first,  then the rest will follow.  Set the tone and get your MIND in order first.

Here is a NO EXCUSE WORKOUT for today.  Pick one and GET MOVING!!!

If you are new to working out...consult your doctor first.  Do what you can and if you can only do one exercise. . .that's a start!

WORKOUT 1:

BRISK WARM UP WALK 5 minutes

JUMPING JACKS 15-20

HIGH KNEES 12 each leg

50 AIR PUNCHES (alternating punches shoulder height)

BODY SQUATS 16

12-18 CRUNCHES

BRISK WALK 10 minutes

REPEAT

WORKOUT 2:

EASY JOG 8 minutes

JUMPING JACKS 20-25

HIGH KNEES and BUTT KICKS 18 each leg

60 AIR PUNCHES (alternating punches shoulder height)

PUSHUPS 12

BODY JUMPING SQUATS 16

18+24 CRUNCHES

JOG 5 minutes RUN 10 minutes

REPEAT
