MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY, BABY!

Today, I am feeling a little happier than usual and there is no particular reason why.  I guess coming off a great weekend with family, food and rest will make any "Mama" feel good.  Yes, I call myself Mama when I'm feeling a little snazzy inside.  LOL!

This is your AttiTUde for Monday!

This is your AttiTUde for Monday!

This past Saturday, I came across a great entry from the book "The Purpose Driven Life" written by Rick Warren and whether you are a believer or not, it's a fantastic read to help you stay focused on your life's purpose.  Here's the entry:

Just as each runner in a race is given a different lane to run in, we must individually "run with patience the particular race that God has set before us."   Don't be envious of the runner in the lane next to you; just focus on finishing your race.

It's Monday and many of us are faced with a few challenges this week.  Whether it's work, family, a co-worker or even a workout, I am hear to suggest that you mentally walk away from the negative core of the challenge and face it head on with authority.  Look, you are a strong athlete.  No matter if you jog a mile a day or run marathons every week. . .you have your goals, your agenda and if YOU stay focused on what YOU want. . .it's yours!  YOU'VE GOT THIS and allowing negative thoughts, people or even advise stop you. . .COME ON! You are stronger than that.  Think of "love" and whatever makes you feel good inside and focus on that, stay right there and fight the daily fight.  Don't let Monday or ANY DAY tell you any different!

Happy Monday. . .Let's DO THIS!

Let me give you an example.  My husband was having a ROUGH DAY on Friday and it started with a bad game of golf that was suppose to help him get through a rough day at work.  He was so upset because he felt like he was mentally crushed by hitting in the high 80s.  Now, I don't like being a golf wife but I do understand that his passion for the sport and he's REALLY good!   So, I strongly suggested that he go BACK OUT THERE and play again the next day.  I told him to face it head and get it DONE!. . .he actually listened to me and played one of the best games of his life. . .he now feels UNSTOPPABLE! You can too. . .face the challenge!
