FITNESS FRIDAY. . .Let's get into it STRONG!

What is on your agenda this Friday? You know that workout week doesn't end because it is Friday! The weekend is going to be BUSY crA-crA for me and my buddies! We will be getting people into shape with the latest Les Mills Releases at Frog's Fitness.  If you want to join us, click on Frog's for the Carmel Mountain location and let's get it on!!! 

As you know, I am also hooked to the NIKE+ app.  I have fallen back to 4th place and even though I needed the rest, it just reminds me of how much I love running with a little competition.  I am 10 miles behind my top running partner, so I will be putting in the miles along with some smiles this weekend!  I love and live fitness.  You can too! Get it in where it fits in and be happy!

 

QUICK WORKOUT for MY CAMPERS! 

  • 2 minute warm up with a jog
  • 1 minute jumping jacks (regular and sagittal)
  • 40 criss cross toe touches
  • 20 crunches
  • run in place for 30 seconds
  • 16 jumping squats
  • 40 criss cross toe touches
  • 30 second rest
  • 12 push ups
  • 20 crunches
  • 12 push ups
  • 20 crunches
  • 2 minute cool down run
  • Repeat, Rest, Static Stretch. . .relax!

Nicol A. Hodges aka "Nic" is fitness professional (NASM, CPT/PES) and product designer living in San Diego, CA. Nicol's athletic background started in her hometown of St. Charles, MO where she earned her 400m state ranking 3 years in a row. Later, at the University of MO, Columbia she earned 8-Big 12 Track and Field titles and a championship title. Nicol currently continues her love for running by competing in local and national running events.
