TIP FOR TODAY: "The Benefits of Exercise". . .Whether you believe it or not, you have a great, mechanical body! So my question, how can you live without exercise? As a personal trainer and fitness expert, I hear so many excuses as to why they can not get a workout in and the excuses are just not that good! Exercise is a necessity whether you believe it or not and many of us do not learn this until we have to while laying in a hospital listening to our doctors.
Think about it, there are 168 hours in one week. On average a person gets about 7 hours of sleep a night, give or take. So, you are sleeping for 49 hours in a week. That leaves you with 119 waking hours (if my math is correct, HA)! 40 hours for work, then family and friends, etc. I think you know where I am going with this. You ONLY need to put in 3-5 hours of exercise a week to improve your overall health by 10%. You can walk, jog, climb, punch or, of course, run your way to a better you. You just have to start moving. . .LET'S MOVE!
