Monday Motivation

It's Monday and it is time to get m-o-v-i-n-g.  Not only is it a new day but it is a new week and a chance to do things a little bit better than you did them last week.  For me, I (along with 5 other trainers) have put together a new program at my church to get people moving and get them a little fitter than they are now.  The response has been overwhelming and today is the first day of the program.  I have not been able to sleep comfortably in the past 4 or 5 days but later realized there is no need to stress.  This program will be successful no matter what! If it's 2 people or all 120 people who have signed up. . .it will have made an impact for someone.    

You may or may not be a fitness expert or running coach but you are a person who can make a difference.  Next time you go to the gym, head to the trails or simply run around the corner for 10 minutes, grab someone to join you.  If you are already with someone or with a group, keep adding more people.  Like I have mentioned before, our bodies are made to move and not be stagnant.  Let's make a difference in someone else's life and get them to move no matter what.

Nicol A Hodges

Nicol A. Hodges aka "Nic" is fitness professional (NASM, CPT/PES) and product designer living in San Diego, CA. Nicol's athletic background started in her hometown of St. Charles, MO where she earned her 400m state ranking 3 years in a row. Later, at the University of MO, Columbia she earned 8-Big 12 Track and Field titles and a championship title. Nicol currently continues her love for running by competing in local and national running events.
