New Year's resolutions can be a joke if you let them get the best of you.  "I am going to do this. . .I am going to do that when the New Year hits. . ."

Not to say that resolutions are not affective but sometimes they can set you up for failure.

So, today is the first day of the year and I have to tell you that I didn't do A N Y T H I N G today. . .well, except for setting this new website up and eat!  I do have some goals that I would like to achieve in the New Year but until I actually do them. . .I am not going to put a date on it!

One of my goals, to eat better because in the past 3 months (yes, BEFORE Thanksgiving) I have been eating HORRIBLY.  Whether it's due to stress or just rebelling against being the healthiest I can be. . .it has not been pretty!

My next goal will be to run more in 2014 consistently! Running has gotten me this far when it comes to staying fit and healthy, I can't ditch it now! Especially since there is absolutley nothing wrong with me inside and out.  There are millions of Americans that are living an unhealthy lifestyle and when it catches up to them, some hate that they never stayed in shape or did what's best for their health.  So, get it done and be a trooper for your own health.

Last, I am always striving to be the best wife and mom that I can possibly be.  I am a real individual with feelings, desires, frustrations and dreams. Sometimes living for others gets tiring and the selfishness kicks in. I am that same old kid inside having my tantrums and not wanting to play fair but as an adult, I refocus and remind myself of my priorities and push forward for something greater than myself.

What do you want to accomplish in the New Year? Whatever it is, take one day at a time and welcome to my new SEENICRUN site!
