No matter if you are a sprinter or an ultra marathoner, my friend Myk Gieskes, track coach for UCSD has a method to the madness of running.  Last night, I attended the Elements of Running hosted by Movin Shoes in Encinitas, CA.  This hour long clinic discussed everything from proper running form to foot strike.   You will be surprised at what you will learn whether you have been running for a couple weeks or 20 years.  I don't want to give too much away because the clinic will have the same subject matter on January 22nd at 6pm at the Movin Shoes in Pacific Beach.  There were a lot of good questions last night and the audience consisted of coaches, track athletes and old fart runners like myself.  It is never too late to practice and learn how to reserve energy while you are running. . .simply by understanding how important your form can be in competition.
