KIDS STRETCHING is just as important as competing.  You have to get those "little muscles" warmed up before they rock & roll on the field of any sport.  Stretching helps prevent injuries, reduces recovery time and keeps your kids flexible!  

Young athletes at any level, just like adults, should start with a 10 minute dynamic warm-up ("moving" stretches) before practice/competition and after a cool down of static stretching should be done.  Check out this week's video featuring SDSC's U10 and U11 Champion mid-fielder "The Marz".  She will show you how it's done!
